WE HAVE SOMETHING TO CELEBRATE!
Gerhard Sedlmayr – early on, with his company AUTOFLUG, founded in 1919, he became interested in the first parachute developments, which were first known from America. A contact with Leslie Leroy Irvin led to a fruitful cooperation and his vision came true – Gerhard Sedlmayr produced rescue parachutes in Germany, when there were still doubters whether a real “aviator” would even need such a thing.
AUTOFLUG developed steadily and so the small company with roots in Berlin became in now 100 years a medium-sized company with more than 250 dedicated employees, until today owner-managed and committed to the rescue and safety of people.
THINKING SAFETY – committed to this motto, today a wide range of rescue equipment is conceived, developed and produced in our company, and is backed up by the best service. And nothing can ever be taken for granted – for us, THINKING SAFETY also means questioning everything that exists and trying to do better. Because one thing is certain for us: to enable the rescue and safety of people who, in turn, risk their own lives for that of others time and again, is a task for which no effort is too great for us.
